The agility
participants are anxiously awaiting our trial that will be coming this Feb.
13-15. 2009 at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds in Davie, FL. We will have our
returning judge, Tom Slattery, from Minnesota and Cathy Nelson, from
Wisconsin, judging our events this year. We will have three full days of FAST
as well as Standard and Jumpers with Weaves class. The surface of the arena
during the Hollywood agility trial at this venue was wonderful. The
maintenance crew really wet it down and made it softer than it has ever been
before. The dogs loved it, as did the competitors. We will definitely ask
them to do the same for us. Jenny Cronin, our trial secretary, is working
hard at getting our premium up and ready on our web page for everyone to
download. Also, this year we will be using the AKC online entry system which
will accept credit cards. Hopefully, this will make it easier and more
convenient for some of you. Mail in entries will also be accepted. Our Monday
night sequencing class is up and running again after all of the rainy
weather. We invite anyone who is interested to enjoy this fun night of
practicing with your dog. Sequences start out easy and we move to more
advanced handling maneuvers. We start at 7:00 PM. We will be having a
holiday fun night in Dec. for our Mon night group. We will have fun and games
with prizes for everyone who participates. More on this as the date gets
